Jordan Martz has spent a decade at every level of basketball from the NBA to NCAA D3.
He has worked with and recruited NBA Champions, 37 All-Conference Players, 10 McDonald’s All Americans, 2 Naismith Player of the Year award winners while coaching in multiple NCAA tournaments.
Martz spent two seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks’ G League affiliate Wisconsin Herd. There, he prepared opponent scouts and led player development sessions.
Prior to his time in the professional ranks, Martz was on staff at Division I Creighton in Omaha, Nebraska, in 2016-17, when the Blue Jays went 25-10 and reached the NCAA Tournament. Creighton started that season 19-1 and reached as high as No. 7 in the nation. Martz worked with a pair of future NBA draft picks in Justin Patton and Khyri Thomas.
Martz helped develop and recruited multiple NCAA D2 All-PSAC selections including Bevo Francis Award Finalist (Nations Best Small College Player) Josh Omojafo. While on staff at Gannon he helped lead them to its best NABC national ranking (#21), the best in over a decade for the program.
At Division II Trevecca Nazarene in Nashville, Tennessee, Martz was heavily involved in recruiting, scouting and player development, helping the Trojans reach the Great Midwest Conference final. He helped develop G-MAC Player of the Year Byron Sanford, who went on to play professionally in Germany and Lithuania. As a recruiter, Martz was responsible for landing Devin Whitfield, who would become a 4x All-Conference guard and 2x All-American.
Martz was a graduate assistant at Messiah University in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, for two seasons helping the Falcons go 32-17 over that stretch. He was involved in all recruiting activities, as well as scouting, player development, fundraising and operations. In his first year, he helped coach Rick Van Pelt and the Falcons to a 19-6 record, including a 12-0 start and a ranking as high as No. 15 in the nation.
A graduate of York College (Pa.) with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management, he was a member of the Spartans Capital Athletic Conference championship team under Hall of Fame coach Jeff Gamber. He earned his master’s degree in Higher Education with a concentration in College Athletics Management from Messiah University
The Hanover, Pennsylvania, native helped lead his high school team to its first winning season in 12 years, and its first district playoff victory in a decade. He received the Hanover Athletics Alumni Award in 2015.
Martz and his wife Sara reside in Orlando with their daughter Isla.
